2008 Block of the Month Clubs

We are excited to bring you a number of Block of the Month Clubs in 2008! We have planned projects that can satisfy a variety of skill levels, interest levels and time constraints.

We can send your monthly blocks!

We have a number of folks who are either not interested in attending meetings or who live too far away. Please let us know when you sign up for your BOM clubs if you would like to be on our auto-ship program.

ABC Quilt

We've created a flexible – "I'll have it my way" – Block of the Month Club. The original pattern combines embroidery and pieced blocks for a stunning result – there is even a machine embroidery option! We have taken the original concept and expanded it to include alternate color options and block fabrics, and a "no-embroidery" option using panels or focal fabric!

Options for the pieced blocks: Redwork color scheme Bluework color scheme 1930's Fabrics Brights Any other color scheme		Options for the block centers: Hand embroidery ABC's Machine embroidery ABC's Panel ABC's Focal fabric or other panels Any other embroidery pattern

This next picture shows the American Jane pattern, which uses Moda's ABC panel. This will give you an idea of how the ABC Quilt would look with panels instead of embroidery.

The first meeting will be Saturday, January 26th, at 10:30 am. We will show you samples in various colors schemes so you can decide how you would like to make your quilt.

For hand embroidery, you will need to know five basic embroidery stitches. We will go over the stitches for beginners and those who would like a refresher at the first meeting.

If you would like do do the machine embroidery version, please let us know by January 12th so we can order your CD.
